Chief Executive Officer
As CEO and co-founder, Kevin draws upon fifteen years of experience in deregulated energy markets to serve as chief visionary of company policy and growth. Having risen through the ranks, Kevin’s top down management approach ensures every client experience is consistent with the company’s high standards identified in the mission. Having a front row seat to the very early days of deregulation, Kevin has witnessed all market conditions firsthand. He has contributed towards the development of numerous product offerings that have enhanced customer’s ability to navigate the markets. Since 2006, Kevin has been guiding Secure Energy’s growth to over fifty employees, operating from three offices, and serving thousands of clients’ global energy needs.

President
After earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2001, Chris sought a career in energy procurement. At the time, the deregulated energy markets in New England (ISO-NE) and the Mid-Atlantic region (PJM, NYISO) were still maturing. As these markets developed, with his business partner Kevin Mattson, Chris identified and refined a leading business strategy and customer service approach to energy procurement that formed the guiding principles that Secure Energy was founded upon.

Managing Partner
After receiving his Bachelor's degree in Business Management in 1993, Joe developed significant sales and management skills through his pursuit of various business opportunities. In 2001, Joe focused that experience on the energy industry, joining a national energy procurement organization where he developed his expertise in energy procurement and the training and management of energy sales associates.

Chief Sales Officer
With 25 years of business ownership, sales, management and entrepreneurial experience, Jamie is well equipped to lead our sales, marketing and large corporate client initiatives. Jamie’s extensive knowledge and command of markets, products and technology position him to skillfully design and execute complex energy programs in all markets. As a member of our senior management team, Jamie is focused on strategic planning, building customer-centric programs, and supporting the development of sales personnel - ensuring that Secure Energy delivers on its’ mission. Jamie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Northeastern University.

Vice President & General Counsel
As Vice President and General Counsel at Secure Energy, Attorney Ness oversees operations and governs the regulatory compliance obligations of the firm. Erik routinely works with our larger, more sophisticated clients, supporting their counsel and management teams in the review and negotiation of energy contracts. Leading our Secure Solar division, Erik consults to municipal, large commercial and industrial clients on a range of energy initiatives such as solar photovoltaic projects, fuel cells, lighting retrofits, combined heat and power installations, and general efficiency projects. Attorney Ness has earned the designations of Certified Energy Procurement Professional (CEP®) and Certified Energy Manager (CEM®) from the Association of Energy Engineers.

Senior Vice President of Data Strategy & Analytics
As Senior Vice President at Secure Energy, Chad oversees data strategy and analytics, driving the integration of data initiatives with company objectives. He works closely with senior leadership, sales and business teams, and external stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights that enhance performance and support strategic business goals. Chad is responsible for overseeing all data assets and flows ensuring the effective delivery of data-driven insights and championing a culture of data-driven decision-making. With over fifteen years of experience in the corporate healthcare industry, Chad brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record in multiple areas of business, more recently in data oversight which includes governance, management, strategy, investment, and analytics within major organizations. Leading our data team, Chads role is critical to the “you can’t manage what you can’t measure” philosophy that influences the Strategies we developed for all clients. Chad holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and a Master’s in Business Administration from Capella University.
